Director and Founder

Jessie Cunnett

Jessie founded PPI Solutions in 2008.

Inspired by a personal experience and a passion for people in 1998 Jessie decided to make a career change from being an actor to study for an MA in Community Development at Westminster University.

This led to a stint at a PCT setting up a PALS and leading on patient and public involvement policy following which she moved to the Commission for Patient and Public Involvement in Health where she was quickly promoted to Area Director, leading on significant national policy developments, organisational change strategies, large scale volunteer management and high value contracts management.

Following work with the Department of Health on setting up Local Involvement Networks, Jessie established Patient and Public Involvement Solutions.

Through PPI Solutions Jessie has been recognised as a leader in her field and is proud to have been hand selected by senior health and political leaders to work on a number of nationally significant and challenging projects resulting in trailblazing concepts that have been taken up and rolled out nationally. Through PPI Solutions Jessie is known for her ability to deliver tangible project outcomes and to leave projects in a position of continuing sustainability.

She lectures at under graduate and post-graduate levels at a number of universities, including Westminster, Brighton and Sussex Medical School and London South Bank University on Patient and Public Involvement. She is a regular speaker at national events and has had a number of articles published.
