Recruiting Non Executive Board Members for Healthwatch

Last year we worked with Healthwatch Hampshire to appoint their non-executive Board members. A range of skills were sought including, Finance and Performance, Governance, Diversity and Inclusion and a Chair. We were able to appoint to all positions with some really high caliber people with backgrounds as diverse as the BBC Trust, Citizens Advice, the oil industry and voluntary and community sector leadership.

Most recently, Jessie has provided support to the recruitment of Non-Executive Directors of Healthwatch Hampshire and Healthwatch Dorset Community Interest Companies. PPI Solutions identified  the best places and networks for advertising the particular roles, using a combination of professional networks such as CHAIN and LinkedIn and other specialist Board, Lay member and Trustee networks, (e.g. Do It and REACH). This attracted candidates of an excellent standard. Providing direction and support to the Appointments Panels, PPI undertook initial shortlisting ahead of interviews and with the other panel members successfully appointed to the Board roles some very high quality candidates.
