RADAR - Reflect, Assess, Develop, Act, Review.
The following process has been developed as a way to practically support people to achieve high quality, effective and far reaching community engagement and involvement.

Reflect - consider the issue and review it against your priority assessment and scoring | |
| Assess - Through further consultation with the community and stakeholders assess the scale of the task and set objectives | ||
| Develop - Using SMART identify actions to explore the issue in more detail | ||
| Act - carry out the actions to investigate the issues and report and recomment actions to relevant services providers | ||
| Review - is the issue resolved? what further plaqnning needs to be done? what was the outcome? how will you feedback to those involved in the process? |
To get the most from RADAR (the community engagement planning toolkit), it should be used in conjunction with the checklists. These checklists explore a large number of practical activities that can increase the quality and reach of your community engagement.
