RADAR - Reflect, Assess, Develop, Act, Review.

The following process has been developed as a way to practically support people to achieve high quality, effective and far reaching community engagement and involvement.




  Reflect - consider the issue and review it against your priority assessment and scoring
Assess - Through further consultation with the community and stakeholders assess the scale of the task and set objectives
Develop - Using SMART identify actions to explore the issue in more detail
Act - carry out the actions to investigate the issues and report and recomment actions to relevant services providers
Review - is the issue resolved? what further plaqnning needs to be done? what was the outcome? how will you feedback to those involved in the process?


To get the most from RADAR (the community engagement planning toolkit), it should be used in conjunction with the checklists. These checklists explore a large number of practical activities that can increase the quality and reach of your community engagement.
