Jane McGrath is Turning the World Upside Down
February 4, 2014
Second up in our guest blog series is Jane McGrath. Jane is a documentary film maker and shares her insights following a trip to Kerala to make a film after sadly experiencing the very worst of mental health care that can possibly be provided in the UK and a personal realisation that the existing NHS system seemes slightly bonkers. Here she talks about another project she came across when she took part as a panel member on the Turning The World Upside Down, dragons den. She talks about Dream-A-World (DAW) Cultural Therapy which was presented by Frederick Hickling, Professor Emeritus University West Indies and shares insights on how we can be open to lessons from other cultures. Click here to read Jane’s blog. Jane will be posting further insights so keep an eye out.
